On April 14th, 2014, the active house had the pleasure of holding a very classy and heartwarming sister dinner.

Dressed to the nines, the Alpha Chapter took a trip to a lovely Thai Food restaurant in Albany called "Orange Mango". We were joined by some of our lovely alumnae sisters, Nancy "Starr" Lauricella Heslin (Delta Class) , Tatiana "Katanvia" Choong, my fantabulous big (Alpha Gamma Class), and Amanda "OverRide" Pascual (Alpha Epsilon Class).

It's such an amazing and overwhelming feeling to know that even after graduating, whether you crossed almost twenty years ago, are a full time grad student, or ventured across the country, that sisterhood knows no age, limits or boundries.

After a delicious Thai dinner (if you ever go, get the BBQ Pork kebab), we presented sister awards and superlatives to the chapter. We were able to recognize sisters for their hard work and achievements as well as poke some fun at all our habits and strange mannerisms.

Afterwards, one of our graduating seniors, Allison "invigorate" Fox surprised us all with superlatives of her own. Allison gave us awards based off of some of our most promising qualities. Personally, I couldn't help but cry when I received "Most likely to do everything with heart." It's things like these that make me really value and cherish our sisterhood.

The emotional rollercoaster continued when the Alpha Eta class presented their PEA, Amanda "OverRide" with a brand new paddle (hope it fit in your suitcase on your way home!) and the Alpha Eta bunny family was reunited once again for a fuzzy family photoshoot after nearly a year apart.

All in all, it's always bittersweet saying goodbye to sisters, but as cheesy as it sounds, it's never really goodbye, just a "See ya later". ALOHA!
