We learned more about the meaning of red envelopes, the symbolism of the color red and it's luck, other special festivities such as lion dancing and parades for celebrating the

After the program, we had a red envelope challange! Shout out to Melanie Meng from Kappa Phi Lambda, our lucky winner who found the red envelope under one of the chairs!

We also made paper lanterns in preparation for the Lunar New Year.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our program last night! We hope you learned more about the Lunar New Year and enjoyed making a paper lantern!
